American, European-African-Middle East, and Asiatic-Pacific WWII Campaign Medals

On November 1942, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order to create campaign medals for service in each “Theater of Operation” within 7 Dec. 1941 – 2 March 1946.

These being:

American: Service within CONUS or Northern & Southern continental regions.

Asiatic-Pacific: Service in China, Alaska, Austria, Russia, Pacific Rim, and related Islands.

European-African-Middle Eastern: Service in Europe, Greenland, Scandinavia, Italy, UK, and Africa.

A Bronze Star denotes additional operations/tours of duty. An Arrowhead denotes a beach or airborne landing during enemy engagement.
